Occupational therapy faculty announce publications

Dr. Brenda Howard, assistant professor, and her research cohort from the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Class of 2020 recently published “Comparing moral reasoning across graduate occupational and physical therapy students and practitioners” in the Journal of Occupational Therapy Education.
The reasoning behind this experiment was to investigate the variations in moral reasoning among first-year and second-year OT and PT college students and among college students and OT and PT practitioners. Investigators applied a cross-sectional study layout with a comfort pattern of University of Indianapolis OT and PT college students and a combination of convenience and snowball sampling to recruit certified OT and PT practitioners.
Dr. Katie Polo, associate professor, is a contributor to a new textbook, Cancer in Occupational Therapy: Enabling Performance and Participation Across the Life Course (1st ed.).
