UIndy faculty offer Alpha Kappa Delta workshops

Several University of Indianapolis faculty are facilitating Alpha Kappa Delta workshops on teaching and learning in November and December. The workshops were specially selected to be repeated from a larger conference earlier this year based on the timeliness of the topics and popular demand. The workshops are free of charge.

Colleen Wynn, assistant professor of sociology, and Leah Milne, assistant professor of English, will present “Discussing Race Using Interdisciplinary Strategies and Texts” at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12.

Amanda Miller, chair and associate professor of sociology, will present “Supporting Underprepared Students in the Online Classroom” at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10.
