Two CHS faculty earn Fellows distinction

Two College of Health Sciences faculty were recently named “fellows” by their respective professional organizations. Dr. Lisa Borrero, associate professor in the department of Interprofessional Health and Aging Studies, was named a Fellow of the Academy of Gerontology in Higher Education (FAGHE). Dr. Bill Staples, associate professor in the Krannert School of Physical Therapy, was named a Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association (FAPTA). 

FAGHE status is the highest category of membership in AGHE and is an acknowledgment of the faculty’s outstanding and continuing work in the field of gerontology.
