Executive Director of the Center for Aging and Community Dr. Ellen W. Miller to Retire at end of June 2022

After nearly 33 years at the University of Indianapolis, Dr. Ellen W. Miller, executive director of the Center for Aging & Community and faculty in the Krannert School of Physical Therapy, will retire at the end of June 2022.

Ellen has been at the University of Indianapolis since 1990 and has worked with the Center for Aging & Community (CAC) since its inception in 2001. She was named executive director in 2005 and awarded the DeHaan Endowed Directorship of CAC in 2007. Under her direction, CAC has partnered with local, state and national aging network and government organizations to conduct work that is enhancing the quality of life for older adults.

For her tireless work on behalf of older adults, Ellen was honored as a United Way of Central Indiana 100 Heroes recipient in 2018. She currently serves on the Board of  Directors for the Central Indiana Senior Fund and Indianapolis OASIS.
